Addiction seems to run in my family. I am the only child out of 7 brothers and sisters who has not fallen prey to addiction. I want to help my sibling overcome this but, I don't know how to get all of them into residential treatment center washington. Is there a place I could send them that would give me a discount on residential treatment center washington for sending multiple person at one time? I don't want to seem greedy but, I just want to get them some help.

When is 12 step group needed? Does an addict have to get 12 step group in order be free of chemical dependence or can it be done on ones own? My father has a chemical dependence and I really want to find him a good 12 step group center to attend. I don't think he can break loose from this on his own even though he says he can. How can I make sure he gets the help he needs?

My life before substatnce dependency was a happy one and when I found myself abusing drugs I didn't know where to turn. What would my family think of me? I was scared to tell them I had a problem and that I needed 12 step alternative.

A drug habit took my son away from our family when he was only 18 years old. We didn't know at the time that he was even using drugs. We were completely oblivious to the signs and knew nothing about addiction and how an addict would act when they were using. We thought our son was just frustrated with school and dealing with finals was hard on him. If we had known he was dealing with a a drug habit maybe we could have saved his life. If we had only been aware of the signs of addiction we could have found rehabilitation services and saved our son. Please get educated on rehabilitation services it could be the best thing you ever do.
